Today marks Eastwick’s official move to Mountain View. While I’ve never actually seen the new office in person, I’ve seen a few workers wandering around on the UStream live feed from the new office. From the looks of it, Eastwick has landed a pretty sweet spot!

However, if my calculations are correct - and I believe they are because Mapquest doesn’t lie - this means adding an additional 8.75 miles to my already 28.5 mile commute from my flat in San Francisco to the Redwood City office (not that I’m complaining).  So, today also marks my moving day to Eastwick’s San Francisco office, located in the sunny neighborhood of Potrero Hill!

I’ve been working part time in both offices for the past several months, but the time has finally come for me to join the elite staff of the San Francisco office full time. I now enjoy a daily commute of 3.42 miles – so close I could run there!

While I won’t miss the commute, I will definitely miss seeing everyone at staff meetings on Mondays, my new friends at Coghead and the most gorgeous view of the city driving home on 101N. But, to all my fellow Eastwickers who were worried you’d never see me again, don’t worry, I’ll be spending my fair share of time in the new Mountain View office, so you’ll be seeing plenty of me.
