I write. I used to write mainly for myself. Now I write mainly for others, and these day almost exclusively for Eastwick where I am the editorial director – mainly because I’ve never worked with or for smarter people who have maintained perspective on what’s really important. I’ve also taught writing skills for UC Berkeley Extension since 1980. Most of what I know that’s truly important I’ve learned from my wife and kids, and what I lack in wit, I try to make up for with enthusiasm.
Writing
